    I was hoping modern tech would have provided for an improved, higher capacity clone.

    These batteries are a suitable replacement for the original Motorola units. I was hoping, however, that they would have been better than the originals that were produced more than 10 years ago. So far, they are performing as expected. Life expectancy? Only time will tell.
